I am an ILM Level 7 Diploma-accredited coach in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring, an accredited coaching supervisor and a trainer. I have 40 years experience in Professional Development, Education and UK National Health Service General Practice. As well as an individual coaching practice, I run training programmes and supervision in Coaching and Mentoring, Coaching for Health and Facing Mortality. I have an eclectic practice, working with a wide range of backgrounds and ages.
My professional interests include leadership, interprofessional learning and working, emotional health, integrated medicine and continuing professional development. I previously ran a master’s level programme in Interprofessional Education and was an Associate Director at The London Deanery for GP specialty training and CPD involved in running training and supervision for General Practitioner training programmes. My personal interests are music, textiles and my family.
I believe I have particular strengths as a coach and enabler that derive from my diverse training, including education, supervision, tutoring, appraisal and psychotherapy. I have an activist-pragmatist approach, a good sense of humour, tend to be optimistic and get on with a wide range of people.
I have also had a range of challenging life experiences where my own coaching has developed my capacity to be resilient and compassionate. My recent ‘retirement / re-alignment’ has fostered my interest in working with transitions at many different stages.
I believe that coaching helps us to more clearly focus on our choices and actions so that we can use our emotional intelligence to enhance our life progression and the quality of our experience at home and at work.

I am an ILM Level 7 Diploma-accredited coach in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching, trainer and coach supervisor and practising General Practitioner within the National Health Service.
I work primarily as a GP, Coach, Supervisor and Trainer for Health Education England and NHS London Leadership Academy. I also offers individual and group supervision.
As a trainer, I design and run training workshops focusing on Introduction to Coaching, Inspiration and Motivation, and Coaching around periods of transition in life. Typical issues might include career/life transitions, future planning, relationship conflict, or dealing with grief.
I am a non-judgemental listener, sensitive to the complexities of life’s dilemmas and challenges. I have known deep grief in my life and this has served to deepen my understanding of change and loss, as well as the need to look for opportunity and possibilities in life. Working collaboratively, I am experienced at teasing out the drivers for change. Coaching conversations also include helping to identify and lessen the impact of barriers to progression.
